The organization of Swedish tourists
We love to organize tours for large groups of tourists as well as we did with the hundred Swedish tourists who have landed at the port of Genoa from a cruise ship.
Our organization has been designed down to the smallest detail in order to offer a unique experience of their trip in Liguria.
From the moment of disembarkation we were present at the port to organize this group of one hundred people who had booked a tour in our cellar.
To facilitate the transport we decided to divide this group into three different buses and then leave in the direction of the Castle of Grillano in Ovada. Of course the group visited all the location at the same time, but as we said before, to facilitate the tour also to tourists, the three groups have followed three different routes.
One group made the first tour of the cellars, another group started from the wine shop while the third group started their tour from the vineyards. Once all the groups have finished the visit, always simultaneously, they were all in the terrace for the tasting.
After that we organized a guided tour to see the beautiful castle, also through the cellars, where tourists have also discovered some secrets of the winemaker. So they admired the large oak barrels and the French wood which keeps the wine and gives possibility to selection of production.
To close in beauty, we organized a guided tasting of the current vintage but also some fine wines aged twenty years. To give a touch of class in addition to the tasting we have also accompanied a banquet with typical products from Piedmont and Genoa. There were the various salami and cheeses of Roccaverano with mustard and the famous Grana Padano served with honey.
A very welcome experience by Swedish tourists who were then again accompanied to the port of Genoa in time for the departure of their cruise. Being an organization planned in detail we could not fail to take into account that the time available to tourists was limited and depended directly on the schedules of the cruise ship, So the visit was planned directly in order to make a complete and fun tour in this time.

The castle of Grillano is a winery of the family Torello Rovereto for almost 100 years. In fact, this family has been involved since 1935 in the cultivation of vines and production of organic wines.
